I was sitting in church one day trying to think of what I could do for some extra income and that is what came to mind. I got started for less than $500. I bought a Bissell home cleaning machine and started cleaning carpets. I was still working full-time as an IT specialist so this was mostly a nights and weekends kind of thing. As a result of the short amount of time I would usually bring a helper along to help me pack things in and out and help me clean things up at the end of the day.
One of the guys that was working with me one day used to have his own carpet cleaning business. I didn’t think much of it but he kept bragging about this product and that product that he could use to get all of the stains out that my machine left behind. He told me he got all this stuff from John up north. My equipment did an okay job but not as good as I wanted.So I jumped on the computer and pulled up Google and tried to find this John. After a little while of searching online I was able to find his business, Superior Cleaning Solutions.
Starting out with my $500 Bissel and having this as a side job I was making some pretty decent money for a side job, but now having over $10,000 worth of equipment and this now being my main source of income it can be stressful and challenging.
